Situated in the capital of Yemen, Sana’a, Zeta Pharma for Medicine and Medical Equipment (ZPM) is a modern, young and dynamic pharmaceuticals distributing company established in 2020 by a group of well-known physicians and senior pharmacists who have accumulated experience of over 30 years in the Yemen medical sector. One of ZPM’s main founders is MUDr Husam Al-Aazzani — head of the Internal Medicine Dept and lead consultant for several renowned hospitals. MUDr Al-Aazzani has earned ample reputation amongst physicians all over the country due to his duties as a medical advisor and consultant, active organization and participation in medical events, and personal interaction with countless physicians and government officials.
Because of the long experience and exposure in the medical arena, our founders have historical connections with KOLs and major hospitals all over the country. This huge added value (among many other factors) has contributed significantly to effective market penetration and continuous sales growth.
When we say in our motto that the medicines we handle are “medicines in safe hands”, we really mean it because we truly care.
We at ZPM are challenging ourselves to become an example of a high-class, modern and professional pharmaceutical company in Yemen that too many international companies as well as local professionals and patients look for. Serving the local market with quality medicines is our mission, and becoming the largest pharma distributor in 5 years is our foreseeable vision.
I love interacting with my patients and see them get well. But for many years I and many of my colleagues have noticed that many medicines in Yemen are not available, and local distributors have fallen short in fulfilling the gaps. One of our main strategies at ZPM is to fill such gaps.

It is quite decisive for international companies to select the right local partner. The following are few factors we believe could help our international pharmaceutical partners grow tangibly in Yemen market:
We are proactive in the organization and participation in several major medical events in the country. Our CEO MUDr Hussam has always been a key figure in such events.
Unlike other pharmaceutical distributors, we don’t depend on wholesalers to sell our products. We invest heavily in marketing, sale, and distribution fleet to reach as many pharmacies in all regions and cities as possible. With this wide-coverage and direct-sales strategy, our professional and well-trained marketing team can promote our medicines to physicians with confidence that their patients will be able to find our products almost everywhere. This medico strategy is the base of what we do.
